Charity Quiz
The team test their general knowledge in the annual Prospect Research Charity Quiz.
Each year Prospect Research organise a charity quiz to help raise money for the East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. For the last couple of years, ctm has entered a team and this year we were hoping to improve on our performance in 2008.
In total there were ten teams competing for the top prize and being named the winner. This year’s ctm team includes Matthew Johnson as team captain with Andrew Tomlinson, Rupert Davey and Debbie Tedstone.
It was a fun packed evening with ten rounds split over two halves with an auction and raffle held in the interval. Despite a couple of poor scoring rounds, the ctm team excelled in Television and Cartoon Characters, where they used their joker card scoring the team double points on all the correct answers. Unfortunately the high scoring rounds were not enough to put ctm in the top two places and we ended up in third place!
The evening was enjoyed by the whole team with lots of money being raised for the charity. At the end of the evening Matthew commented:
“Despite a poor showing in early rounds on Fruits and Rivers, the ctm quiz team came back with strong rounds on Television Pubs and Cartoon Characters to finish third. A good effort from all involved!”
