About Us

Established in 1998, CTM  delivers traffic management solutions and event admission control services to some of the UK’s most prestigious clients in both private and public sectors.  It prides itself on providing fresh thinking, delivering innovative solutions and keeping customer service and value for money at the top of the agenda.

From its inception, CTM won the on site parking contracts for Glastonbury Festival and Burghley Horse Trials – contracts which it still holds today.  Since then it has grown well beyond parking at green field sites and major outdoor events to include static venues, exhibitions and road-based events such as parades and marathons.  It has also significantly extended its services to offer a full range of traffic management and event-related services.

Our Team

Our team comprises a number of full time, highly experienced Operations Managers, one of whom will act as your point of contact throughout the consultancy and delivery process.  The Operations Managers, based throughout the UK, work closely with our back-office support team who make sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly and act as a second-line support should the need arise.

Beyond our core team, we employ thousands of staff throughout the UK, all of whom are subject to a two stage vetting process to ensure that they can fulfil the role to which they are being assigned; this includes checking licences, qualifications and, where applicable, police vetting.  Performance is assessed and high performers are given the opportunity for further training, coaching and promotion.  All our staff are fully briefed prior to every event.

CTM values openness, honesty and integrity.

We individually vet all our staff to make sure that we get the best people for the job and, once successful, we believe they should be paid according to their job role, not according to their age – i.e. we do not deliberately recruit young people because we can pay them less and we do not pay young people less just because we can – everyone in the same role is paid the same amount and we expect them to perform to the same high standards.  We balance the experience on every project, dependent on its needs, and treat everyone as equals to give the best service possible and develop our staff for the future.  We also include holiday pay in our hourly rates so, rather than temporary staff “accruing holiday” that they may never take or may never get paid for, we make sure they’re properly rewarded for the job that they do.

We believe that delivering Value for Money is about setting standards that benefit everyone in the long term – by promoting good practice in the industry and treating everyone fairly we hope to change things for the better.
