Supporting local councils with the reopening of waste recycling centres.

CTM have been supporting council operations in various locations in England to help manage the traffic flow at recycling centre sites reopening after the lockdown.

Anticipating that an increase or backlog in green and household waste could contribute to a busier-than-usual time for certain sites, councils in those areas have proactively sought assistance from CTM’s trained and accredited PATOs (Police Accredited Traffic Officers) to make the reopening of sites a smoother affair. Through the use of staff trained under the Community Safety Accredited Scheme (CSAS), CTM have assisted in the smooth running of the traffic operation at various sites and the delivery of a planned approach to queue reduction.

As part of our operation in Somerset, we have also been able to support Glastonbury Carnival Committee, providing a significant income to their funding for the year.

If you are looking for assistance in the reopening of your facility or business, we would be happy to discuss your requirements. You can contact us via our email address or alternatively speak to a member of our office team on 01676 549001.
